There's also a circle of rocks around what we suppose is the center of the summit. There was a sign in the center of this circle, but it's gone now. The rain starts to fall harder, mixed with sleet, and then lightning strikes less than three miles away, and it's about an hour back along the ridge to the treeline... all while being the tallest objects around.
